Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide individualised English and Maths tutoring to students with special educational needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams.
* Create and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the specific learning requirements of each student.
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic improvement.
* Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Specialist knowledge of teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level.
* Experience working with students with special educational needs.
Experience:
* At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Deep understanding of SEN teaching strategies and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions.
* Work primarily in a learners home or community center.
* Interact with students, parents, and other educational professionals on a regular basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
