Salary: £51,051 + £5,100 shift allowance
Working hours: 40 Hours 7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am

We are currently recruiting for an Automation Maintenance Engineer for my client in Bristol. The Role:
1. Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance
2. Performing continuous improvement activities
3. Provide effective and efficient support to the Engineering Manager, Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Team Coaches, completion of end of shift reports, fault logging and data entry
4. Identify the root cause of automation breakdowns and prioritize corrective actions to meet operational processing requirements
5. Monitor equipment performance and improve automation outputs in collaboration with operational stakeholders
6. Identifying and working on Continuous Improvement projects, conception to implementation ownership, for machinery in the Hub/ Mail Centre
7. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team to achieve common goals
About You:
The ideal candidate must have first-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment, including but not limited to - Conveyor systems, infrastructure systems and sorting machines.
The machines you will be working on are:
1. Compact sequence Sorters
2. Culler facer Canceller
3. Letter/ parcel sorting machines
You will be required to work as part of a team and also have a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements:
1. You must be fully qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering - or equivalent)
2. Full UK Driver's License
