Fixed Term 12 month position which supports the administration of the SAR training system for all SAR Pilot and Technical Crew.
Key Tasks
Training Management System – iSAR:
1. Monitoring validity of SAR crew training and checks via iSAR;
2. Issuing reminders to SAR bases of upcoming checks where required;
3. Approving SAR crew training and checks via iSAR;
4. Onboarding of new starts;
5. Supporting iSAR queries and service desk tickets.
Training Records:
6. Preparation of SAR training record files and courseware;
7. Maintenance and retention of all SAR crew training records;
8. Maintaining paperless training records;
9. Developing iSAR academy.
Pilot / Technical Crew Training and Licensing:
10. Processing pilot licence renewals and making application to the CAA where appropriate;
11. Processing and application for pilot type ratings and validations as required;
12. Monitoring expenditure on licences and ratings and reconciling CAA invoices;
13. Booking internal and external training courses;
14. Supporting inductions and associated travel;
15. Book travel as required for cadet’s initial training courses.
Technical Crew Medical Training and Paramedic Registration:
16. Maintenance of all Technical Crew medical / paramedic records and registrations in accordance with medical governance protocols
17. Monitoring medical training expenditure
Office Management:
18. Assistance to the Training Manager and Training Staff as required;
19. Stock control for Training office supplies;
20. Producing and reconciling monthly training hours stats;
21. Approving training invoices in SAP.
Simulator:
22. Liaison with the Simulator Manager and external clients for booking of simulator slots;
23. As above for internal training.
