About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver water industry projects for a leading M&E/Civils subcontractor working on Severn Trent Water sites. The role will involve managing contracts and ensuring project success from inception to completion. This position requires 1-2 days on-site, with the remainder based at their Derby office (Possibility for Hybrid working). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project delivery under NEC 4 contracts, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and deliver water industry projects in line with NEC 4 contracts.
2. Oversee Civils or MEICA works, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Lead and coordinate teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including SMSTS and Temporary Works.
5. Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships with Severn Trent Water.
6. Provide progress updates, risk management, and problem-solving.
Requirements
1. Proven experience managing projects within the water industry (Civils or MEICA background).
2. Strong understanding of NEC 4 contracting and commercial project management.
3. SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator & CSCS Black Card (essential).
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
