Scale: £24404 - £25,183 to be pro-rated to reflect term time working
Actual Salary £20,405 - £21,057 per annum
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am -4.30pm with a 4.00pm finish on a Wednesday
Contract: Term time only. 37 hours per week.

The Governing Board wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated clerical officer to work in our very busy school supporting our Headteacher, Business Manager and Administrator. We are a one and a half form entry Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School with 324 children currently on role. You will be joining a well-established, committed and friendly team, who are highly dedicated to making a positive contribution to the school experience of all of our pupils.
We are looking for an outstanding professional who has extremely high expectations of themselves, who can work well as part of a team and who is willing and able to work flexibly, if required. You will be dedicated in supporting, upholding and further developing the vision and Christian ethos of our school.
The successful applicant will:

Have the ability to plan and prioritise own workload and meet deadline
Awareness and adherence to Data Protection law.
The role will include responsibilities such as:
School office reception duties - answering the telephone, taking messages, welcoming visitors and providing hospitality.
IT support creating flyers, handbooks, bespoke documents.
General administration - checking off deliveries promptly, handling post.
Maintaining good levels of communication - school internal diary, use of e-mails, updating the school website.
Routine clerical support - typing letters, photocopying, filing.
Assist the Administrator with the upkeep of the MIS system: Bromcom, School Asset Register, Schools Cash Office.
Maintaining registers, ordering school meals.
Carrying out duties and responsibilities of the post in accordance with the policies of the school and supporting the school ethos.
