About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Recovery Worker at our 5-bed crisis support service in Boston. This service is designed to provide short-term, high-quality support for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The focus is on understanding the underlying factors contributing to each person’s crisis and equipping them with tools and strategies for ongoing recovery.
Key Features:
1. 5-bed crisis service with a maximum stay of 7 days per service user.
2. Designed for individuals aged 18+ under the care of Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust crisis teams.
3. On-site parking is available.
4. 1 sleep-in shift per week, with additional overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide empathetic, one-to-one support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
2. Assist service users in identifying triggers and developing coping strategies for ongoing mental health management.
3. Work collaboratively with crisis teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
4. Facilitate a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery and wellbeing.
5. Complete relevant documentation accurately and in line with service requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or a similar care setting is highly desirable.
2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with individuals in crisis.
3. A calm, compassionate approach with the ability to handle challenging situations.
