Job Description
* Lead the investigator payments team (Team of 5)
* Manage clinical site budgets
* Forecast and manage clinical site costs
* Manage payments to clinical sites
* Support with the billing of clinical site costs onto the end customer
* Lead the roll out of the new global investigator and site costs management tool (FLEX)
* Assist in the development and testing of enhancements to FLEX
* Work closely with Clinical operations team to ensure accurate and timely information flow
* Provide excellent customer service and site issue resolution
* Review Electronic Data Capture updates and determine when certain budget items are payable
* Liaise with Site Agreements team to ensure timely receipt of site contracts, budgets and amendments
* Keep all study payments up to date and provide financial reports to study teams as requested
* Provide site payment documentation for sponsor audits as requested
* Contribute and participate in process improvement projects
* Report on Monthly activity as part of the monthly group finance process
* Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
* Working knowledge of clinical trial payment process and familiarity with investigator contracts and budgets; previous interaction with operational project teams and investigative sites preferred
* Strong networking abilities and an ability/willingness to work with internal and external stakeholders across the globe
* Strong analytical skills
* Good organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication / writing skills
* Strong computer skills
* Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet skills), aptitude for training
* Flexible and adaptable to a developing work environment
* Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
