Role Overview: As an Internal Audit Assistant Manager/Manager, you'll be instrumental in helping a range of organisations-particularly those within the public sector, education, charity, and not-for-profit arenas-enhance their risk management, governance, and internal control frameworks. This position offers a mix of responsibilities, including leading audit assignments, offering strategic advice, and building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: Take charge of internal audit assignments, ensuring thorough and high-quality deliverables ready for senior-level review. Conduct internal audits either on site at client locations or remotely. Present audit findings and provide strategic recommendations. Work closely with clients to design and implement audit plans, including defining the scope, scheduling, and setting clear deliverables. Manage your own workload and oversee junior staff, ensuring all work is completed within the allocated budget. Contribute to business development by participating in client meetings, networking events, and other marketing activities Ideal Candidate Profile: We are seeking candidates who are passionate about internal audit and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment. You should bring: Credentials: ACA, ACCA, or IIA qualification (essential). Experience: Solid experience in planning and executing audits of varying complexities (essential).
