You will assist in driving this goal by supporting the delivery of accurate and timely data declarations as specified by environmental legislation and voluntary commitments. You will help support our customers to comply with environmental legislation and give insights to the packaging they handle, allowing them to make meaningful changes with confidence.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Onboarding Consultant to oversee the customer onboarding process for all data management services including Packaging, WEEE, Batteries and Plastic Tax amongst others. They will use their skills in process management to efficiently and accurately onboard clients into EPIC and ensure all customers have an excellent onboarding experience. The Onboarding Consultant will have a focus on international regulations and services.
The position requires strong technical understanding of Valpak’s data processes and collaboration with Account Managers. They will be responsible for communicating with the account to receive the necessary data, setting up any relevant data tool and DSF rules as well as completing any EPIC processes required prior to completion of retrospective or forecast submissions. Once set up with the overseas compliance schemes they will hand the submission over to the Account Manager.
Responsibilities
Objectives
Onboarding of customers
* Ensure that onboarding is completed within agreed timeframes and to a high level of accuracy to maximise recognisable revenue.
* Develop a standard process for onboarding customers into EPIC.
* Continually improve the onboarding processes and identify opportunities to make the process more efficient.
* Review contracts to ensure the scope of work agreed to is being met.
Deliver excellent customer service
* Work alongside Account Managers to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Effectively communicate data requirements to clients to ensure we receive the best quality data possible.
Accurately complete late submissions for International Packaging and Plastic Tax
* Ensure that all required environmental data (including but not limited to weights information) is collated appropriately.
* Utilise EPIC to analyse weights data and complete late submissions.
* Use data and communication skills to provide useful information for accounts regarding the submissions to aid them in the verification process.
Collaborate effectively internally
* Communicate effectively with the International Admin team against data progress for registrations.
* Once onboarded provide the Account Manager with a thorough data handover and ensure methodologies are provided.
* Support in the sales process as required.
Skills
* Ideally at least one year of experience within a data management role and a strong understanding of EPIC processes.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Analytical and goal-oriented mindset.
* Self-motivated.
Qualifications
* Minimum: Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent.
* Desirable: Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
* Previous operational data experience.
