Are you an experienced CNC machinist looking to transition into Quality Inspection?
My client who are specialists with the Manufacturing sectors located within the Oldham area are looking to add a machinist who wants to move into Quality Inspection This is a great opportunity to join a growing company who offer on-doing personal development and training.
The role will include working shifts-
1 week of 6am till 2pm Monday to Friday
1 week of 2pm till 11:30pm Monday to Thursday- Off FridayPay- £18.21 to £21.67
Key responsibilities.
The role would require usage of inspection equipment (Micrometre, Vernier, Projector, CMM- training available)
Inspecting manufactured components and finished product prior to release.
Maintaining Quality records and KPI data related to Quality Release
Perform mechanical inspection on parts, sub-assemblies, and top-level assemblies and overall quality checks
Maintaining Quality records and KPI data related to Quality Release.
The ideal candidate with have the following-
Qualified preferred in Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering
CNC machine experience
Measuring System Analysis (MSA)
Hold a PCN or ASNT qualification (Dye-Penetrant qualification- This is desirable not essential)
In return you will receive an hourly rate of £18.21 to £21.67 dependant on experience, company pension contribution,25 days holiday + Bank holidays, Sick pay after qualifying period, ongoing training and personal development
