We are currently looking to support a market-leading Training Provider in adding to their ever-growing team. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a Business Development Executive who can build the profile of the business within the legal sector. You don't have to be from the training sector to apply for this role as full training will be given.
The purpose of this role is to work with the Director, Managers, and other members of the operational and business development team in the generation and management of a sustainable pipeline that reflects the current and anticipated business strategy. The business development manager will expand on their existing network of contacts to significantly grow the business in line with personal targets.
Salary is £30,000 with OTE of £20,000.
What you'll be doing:
1. Responsible for driving revenue through the sale of Apprenticeships and Qualifications up to Level 7.
2. Building strong networks and awareness of the business by attending and presenting at networking events and seminars.
3. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes to industry funding, eligibility, legislation, and regional grants.
4. Scheduling regular contact with current employers in person and by telephone to build relationships and increase apprenticeship vacancies.
5. Effective capturing and analysis of customer information and interactions in our CRM to drive insights and increased sales performance.
6. Business Development / Lead Gen - find, reach out to, and engage with new leads to ensure a healthy pipeline of future opportunities.
7. Needs Analysis / Consultative Sales - evaluate prospective clients' needs and objectives and work with the delivery team to ensure they find the program which best matches their objectives and desired outcomes.
8. Pitch to clients by creating and presenting impactful and engaging proposals.
9. Create clear, concise, self-explanatory and well-designed presentations/decks.
About you:
1. Proven experience in sales within the construction sector. Account management within the Apprenticeship Training sector is essential.
2. Excellent knowledge of Apprenticeship funding.
3. Experience in achieving targets in regard to Learner starts.
4. Proven experience in developing relationships, influencing, and negotiating with employers to secure new business.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, written, and verbal skills.
6. Comfortable developing and delivering first-class presentations that result in sales.
