What skills and experience we're looking for
We would like to hear from enthusiastic, inspirational, creative and highly motivated teachers. Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is desirable but not essential.
If you want to teach in a welcoming, joyful school community, and you share our passion and determination to unlock the potential in every pupil, then we have the ideal teaching role for you!
From all staff we expect commitment to the school and a desire to improve and excel.
What the school offers its staff
We can offer:
• A committed and knowledgeable staff community who are willing to share their knowledge and skills with anyone who has a desire to learn
• A comprehensive induction programme for new staff, followed by access to continuous personal and professional development
• Teaching teams who work collaboratively
• A commitment to the wellbeing of staff and pupils, including staff led wellbeing initiatives
• Part of a dynamic special school with opportunities for career development
Commitment to safeguarding
Oakleigh School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and all staff are required to have an enhanced DBS.
