Care Co-ordinator Working as part of a small but very successful team you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the branch and be specifically responsible for managing the weekly and daily roster of the carers and using the system to allocate and match the carers to care plans and client visits. This role will give you a great opportunity to grow, take on extra responsibility work closely with a supportive office Team to ensure that quality-driven care is always delivered and that the care team is supported and valued. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate care and compassion, along with empathy and an understanding of the clients and carers need. You must be a driver holding a full British driving license, available to work one weekend to support with on-call shifts, and willing to take on care calls when required. Principal responsibilities · Answering all incoming telephone inquiries. · Implementation of thorough recruitment and vetting procedures for all Care & Support Workers. · Processing new customer referrals. · Preparing appropriate documentation for Field Care Supervisors. · Permanent allocation of Care & Support Workers to all customer visits and ensuring all visits are always covered. · Administration of all Individual Care & Support Agreements. · Maintaining customer and Care & Support Worker office files and ensuring that they are always up to date. · Always maintaining computer systems up to date. · Ensuring all customer Care & Support Worker documentation and electronic records are kept up to always date. · Ensuring all other records are kept up to date. · To work closely with the Field Care Supervisor. · To ensure compliance with all office systems and procedures. · Assistance with wages and invoice processing. · Production of reports and management information as required. · Provision of on-call service outside normal working hours and maintain a detailed log of all on-call activity. Prepared to go out on care calls when required whether as part of a package or in an emergency. Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in home care or healthcare settings. • Confident system or tech-savvy as you will be working with computer software. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to own car with business insurance. • Willingness to be flexible and responsive to change. • Compassionate and patient demeanour with a genuine desire to help others. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility in scheduling. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
