To ensure both the reporting of sales statistics and sales revenue accurately reflects the activities of the business. To assist in accounting matters commensurate to skills and experience. To ensure that all relevant team members are appropriately trained to handle work in absence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To reconcile on a daily basis all financial information and record differences utilizing Maestro all properties, and: Complete daily banking spreadsheets Credit Card reconciliations Cash and cheques received Other payment methods Follow up any variances with relevant departments that are still unresolved. Posting of Banking Journals on a weekly basis. To reconcile figures between Maestro and other financial systems ensuring accuracy in transfer of revenue/payments: Silverware BRS Maestro Other additional system installed To investigate and report any differences between the restaurant and golf systems against maestro, subsequently using this to suggest improvements. Maintain log records of faults / inappropriate working of systems to assist in making valid business decisions. To produce support documentation, if needed, to help assist in the training of new system developments. To review unresolved check outs and ensure all are correctly closed off. To review all Maestro daily balances ensuring all folios are valid and invoiced where appropriate. To redirect and make corrections where appropriate. Check all voucher redemption for monetary, prepaid and SK chase - make any corrections that are needed, follow up any missing vouchers and ensure all vouchers have been redeemed on the SK Chase website/control Accounts. Examine and review all aspects of the revenue reporting process. To check C&B revenue and covers for accuracy. To check packages and ensure revenue to offset beverage and wine packages. To conduct quarterly utilities, statements for owners and commission payments for luxury long let lodges. To cover team absences such as Sales Ledger, spa membership where needed. To deal with day-to-day queries. GENERAL Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to work colleagues, guests and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures. Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times.
