Our client based in Aylesford, Kent is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Our client specialises in providing systems and services for HR, Payroll and Employee benefits for businesses that need to outsource these functions.
To be considered for the Payroll Specialist role you must have at least 5 years’ experience in a payroll position and have excellent numeracy skills as well as extensive Payroll Systems Experience. Due to office location, you must hold a full driving license.
In this role you will work alongside a team of Payroll Specialists processing and advising a portfolio of clients on everything relating to Payroll.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist role:
* Manage an allocated portfolio of payroll clients, working within a team to meet deadlines and ensure the accurate and efficient running of monthly, weekly, 2 weekly and 4 weekly pay runs.
* Ensure the internal payroll system is accurate and up to date across all client records.
* Liaise with clients via telephone and email, providing advice and guidance on all matters relating to payroll.
* Remain competent with HMRC guidance and updates and where necessary liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
* Dealing with allocated incoming & outgoing post.
* Printing and scanning of documentation including issuing of payslips, P45’s & P60’s.
* Uploading of monthly pension contributions via online provider portals.
* Processing BACs payments.
* Attend allocated new business client meetings either via telephone or face to face, working towards agreed annual targets.
The working hours for the Payroll Specialist role are Monday to Friday. Once training is completed you will be able to work to a hybrid working model. Our client also offers flexible working hours as well as a very generous benefits package.
