Bede's Trust requires an experienced and proactive individual to join the Estates Department as a Plumber.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs and renewals across the Trust ensuring that the school is a safe environment for staff, pupils and the general public.
You will work alongside our Lead Plumber ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the school's plumbing systems, including sanitary fixtures, water supply systems, and swimming pool facilities. You will be responsible for both reactive maintenance and preventative measures to minimise disruptions to the school environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work collaboratively as part of a welcoming team, having previous experience of working in a school or similar environment is highly desirable with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in plumbing being essential.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with the hours of 07:30 - 16:30 and an unpaid 1-hour break per day.
We are offering an attractive salary of £37,856 per annum.
