This position involves supporting our NHS medical glaucoma service by providing both clinical and surgical assistance. To excel in this role, you'll need a deep understanding of glaucoma management and patient care, as well as the ability to diagnose, evaluate and manage patients with existing and undiagnosed glaucoma. You'll perform diagnostic tests and procedures such as visual field assessments, OCT scans, volk, CCT, and gonioscopy. You'll also develop comprehensive treatment plans with other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care for our patients. With experience in ophthalmology, especially in managing glaucoma cases, you'll bring valuable expertise to our team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll participate in regular meetings and contribute to service development initiatives, maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to healthcare regulations. You'll also educate and support patients and their families regarding glaucoma management and treatment options.
