Podiatry Clinical Support Worker

Job Overview
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and highly motivated podiatry clinical support worker, to be a good team player and able to work independently and under pressure.
You will be supporting the podiatrists undertaking nail surgery, wound and assessment clinics. It will require travel to various clinics in Torbay and South Devon as necessary.
High standards of treatment and professionalism, adherence to policies and procedures is essential.
Main Duties of the Job
You will assist the podiatry team to deliver high quality care to a caseload across the Torbay and South Devon area and will be working closely with other community healthcare workers and provider agencies within a variety of care settings including:
* Community clinics
* Domiciliary work
* Care homes
* Contributing to the development of the podiatry team
You will be:
* Committed to and undertake CPD, evidenced based practice and clinical rotation
* Providing high standards of treatment and professionalism and to continue to develop a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care
Due to the role requirements, you must have the ability to travel around the Torbay and South Devon locality to undertake home visits.

Qualifications
* NVQ Care Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification/experience
* Care certificate
* English & Mathematics at GCSE grade A-C (9-4) or level 2 functional skills
