Bank Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Band 7 £46,244 - £53,789 per annum Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance per annum Permanent Bank Post This is an exciting opportunity for a Bank Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join a friendly and highly motivated multidisciplinary team including a full range of healthcare professionals. This post is in based at the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced self-motivated pharmacist to help continue exciting work in developing a clinical and patient focussed clinical pharmacy service. The post-holder will be one of a team of pharmacists and technicians working at this hospital and will be responsible for the clinical pharmacy service to a number of wards. There may also be opportunities to get involved in providing a clinical pharmacy service to the local hospice and remotely to the other two hospitals throughout the archipelago. The pharmacist team work closely with colleagues in Primary Care Pharmacy to enhance safe patient transition over boundaries of care. The service is using HEPMA across Western Isles Hospital and in Uist and Barra Hospital. There are other technology projects in the planning stage.
