Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Manager to join our team at H&T Presspart. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, environmental, and sustainability policies and programs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of employees.
* Manage employee relations, including absence management, disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
* Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in alignment with ISO 45001 standards.
* Review, update, and maintain ISO14001 environmental system requirements.
* Participate in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of the company's sustainability strategy.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Manage and maintain the organization's Incident Management Plan.
* Review PPE requirements and coordinate employee health surveillance checks.
* Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
* Responsible for first aid reporting, incident recording, trending, and instigating improvement activities.
* Organize and deliver training sessions on health and safety practices, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
* Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource usage.
* Monitoring and recording of all energy and material use throughout the site for carbon footprint and CBAM reporting.
* Advise the organisation regarding ESG matters and identify possible areas for improvement.
* Respond to customer requests for information on sustainability topics.
Requirements:
* Qualified to a minimum of NEBOSH national general certificate (health & safety).
* Ideal: member of IEMA and IOSH.
* Ideal: ISO 45001/14001 Internal Auditor.
