With 1200+ lawyers, 300+ partners, 28 offices and 17 jurisdictions, we are looking to expand our IT Services team with the addition of a Data Steward Administrator.
The opportunity for you
We are seeking a Data Steward Administrator to support the improvement of data quality across Business Services within Taylor Wessing. This role will involve supporting Data Stewards in cleansing and maintaining client, matter, people, and financial data which is vital for compliance, billing, business development, and firm reporting purposes. The role's objective is to achieve data quality and consistency across the firm's relevant databases.
Key responsibilities
* Responsible for administration support for the Data Steward team, involving assisting in the cleansing and maintaining of client and matter data tasks in compliance with regulatory obligations.
* Running searches to identify incomplete or inaccurate data and updating as required.
* Checking and verifying new data entries to ensure minimum data standards.
* Supporting Data Stewards to assist in addressing data quality issues.
* Reviewing processes and procedures to ensure best practice is always implemented.
* Conducting regular housekeeping tasks within the client and matter inception tool, Intake, and the practice management system, Aderant, in order to maintain an efficient and streamlined process.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Previous CRM experience would be an advantage.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent IT and administrative skills.
* Experience of compliance and practice management systems in a law firm is desired.
* Experience in dealing effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
* Able to juggle tasks and be flexible to meet the demands of the business, understanding the need to prioritise workload and take ownership of tasks.
* Strong team ethic demonstrating awareness of work levels in the wider team, and a willingness to provide assistance to others where required.
* Able to adapt to new processes and technology.
* Enthusiastic about data quality, with a desire to build relationships with internal clients.
* Reliable, hardworking, and committed to learning.
* Articulate and confident communicator.
* Uses initiative and adapts style to suit the circumstances.
* Understands the firm's wider objectives and values and incorporates these into their thinking and behaviours.
Education/Experience
* Experience working in a legal or other professional environment.
* Experience of practice management, compliance, and IT systems desired, but not essential.
