Assist the head cook with planning and pricing menu items, ordering supplies, and supervising activities of kitchen assistants and workers are also among the responsibilities of this role.
Outcomes
1. Preparing and cooking foods of all types in the quantity required.
2. Checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure the standards are met.
3. Supervising and coordinating activities of kitchen assistants and workers.
4. Working with the head cook on food presentation and creating decorative food displays.
