Dispute Resolution Solicitor
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join an expanding Dispute Resolution department within a reputable and friendly Legal 500 firm.
This is an ideal opportunity for a legal professional with at least 3 years’ PQE to develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The role has become available due to ongoing growth within the team.
The Role:
* To support the lead fee earner by managing an individual caseload and assisting with more complex matters
* To contribute to the development of the department and wider firm through business development initiatives, with support from our Business Development Director
* To work in compliance with the Office Manual, SRA Standards and Regulations (2019), SRA Accounts Rules, and The Law Society LEXCEL standard
* To conduct oneself at all times in a manner befitting a professional legal practice
* Manage a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters independently
* Provide clear, professional client support both in person and over the phone
* Adhere to all firm procedures and regulatory requirements as outlined in the Office Manual
* Meet agreed individual performance targets and contribute to departmental objectives
* Maintain compliance with all quality assurance and risk management systems
* Attend firm-wide and departmental meetings
* Effectively utilise the firm’s case management system
About You:
* Minimum 3 years’ PQE in a Dispute Resolution role
* Strong team player with a proactive approach
* Current, comprehensive knowledge of dispute resolution law and procedures
* Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle – essential
* Experience with case management and time recording systems (knowledge of Tikit is an advantage)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive client interactions professionally
