We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our students with SEN in a range of activities outside of the classroom. As part of our committed SEN team, you will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to deliver tailored lessons that are accessible, engaging, and fun for our students. This role requires a strong understanding of SEN, a passion for sport and the outdoors and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of our learners. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and delivery of sport and physical education activities that are accessible to students with a variety of needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons and activities, ensuring they are fully included and encouraged. Support students in developing their motor skills, coordination, and teamwork abilities in a safe and supportive environment. Assist in managing and maintaining equipment, ensuring it is used safely and appropriately. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel motivated, valued, and supported. Monitor and report on the progress of students in PE lessons, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCO. Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants and staff to create a holistic support plan for each student.
