We’re looking for an SEO executive to join the Customer Growth Team. You will support the Senior SEO Manager to deliver an in-house SEO strategy that increases our presence and revenue through deploying the best all-round SEO and Local SEO. Working hand-in-glove with the wider customer team to ensure we have a seamless approach to search and performance, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a real passion for SEO, strong organisation skills and a sound research methodology. Key Responsibilities & Expectations: Support the Senior SEO Manager in building and executing the SEO strategy that fits seamlessly into the overarching digital marketing approach. Perform in-depth keyword and competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities for on-page optimisations. Work closely with the copy team to manage the SEO content pipeline and create content briefs for new and existing copy Identify opportunities to optimise our estate through conducting regular audits of our domains Report weekly and monthly movement on the organic search channel to demonstrate the impact of the SEO strategy on performance and its integration with other channels Support the formation and implementation of the Local SEO strategy, taking responsibility for ensuring accuracy across our site and multiple external listings Support & Implementation of both technical and content optimisations using our CMS and developer resource Key Stakeholders: This role will touch into many verticals of the business, including: Senior SEO Manger Customer Growth Team (CRM, Loyalty, Ecomm) Regional Customer Business Partners Brand/ Copy Team Wider Central Support functions (customer experience, Tech, Grocery, People) Agency partners The candidate should possess / be: Minimum 2 years' hands on experience in an SEO role covering technical and content An understanding of the importance of Local SEO Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams – able to convert technical information into digestible insights to help others understand the ‘why’ simplistically Data and analytically minded – someone who can take actionable insights from data and has experience of producing reports from large data sets A pro-active and self-driven mindset, able to work independently and contribute as a team player Task orientated, and comfortable working to deadlines with a strong attention to detail A passion for staying up to date with the latest industry news Experience using SEO and Analytics tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, BrightEdge - Google Trends is a plus Interest in Generative-AI is a plus Our candidate should be looking for: A culture with strong purpose & values, intent on contributing to / driving positive cultural and societal change Involvement in a variety of projects in a business which encourages creativity and evolution rather than a set approach.
