The Scotland Office occupies a unique place at the heart of the UK Government. This is also a great opportunity to work alongside the press and media, visits and events, stakeholder and other teams across the Office. Please note this is a one year Fixed Term Contract. Responsibilities Produce, edit and oversee engaging content e.g. video, graphics and animations. Filming and editing at ministerial events and visits, including case studies around Scotland. Identify new creative opportunities and channels and audiences. Content scheduling and forward planning. Analytical reporting, measuring the success of content and channels. You’ll report to the Head of Digital and Insight and be a member of the wider Communications division. You’ll work with Ministers and digital, Comms and policy teams across the UK Government. Responsibilities Success Profile Success profiles are specific to each job and they include the mix of skills, experience and behaviours candidates will be assessed on. Experience: Significant experience in filming, editing and publishing a diverse range of creative digital content for X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook. A passion for, and knowledge of, best digital content practice, emerging channels, and the latest tools. Knowledge of Adobe CC (especially Premiere Pro and/or After Effects would be useful). Strong analytical skills and experience of using evaluation to analyse the impact of your work and acting on results to revise your approach. Ability to work confidently with a range of colleagues, external partners and ministers, and to influence and prioritise direction of work.
