As a Facilities Helpdesk Manager at Labcorp, you will:
1. Be responsible for managing the Facilities Management sites and buildings services contracts supporting scientific departments and studies, across Huntingdon, Eye (Suffolk) and Shardlow (Derbyshire).
2. Manage the facilities management and scientific equipment helpdesks across all 3 sites.
3. Manage up to 4 direct reports, working on the helpdesk.
4. Be the escalation and communication channel in support of the wider business and work with senior leaders to ensure the timely resolution of risk mitigation and maintenance issues.
5. Manage small projects within Facilities Management and cross-site departmental leadership, and site leads.
6. Act as the Facilities subject matter expert for rodent ingress, air flow management and asset insurance management, and other key business areas.
7. Be the contact for sponsor and regulatory audits on behalf of the Facilities Management team.
What we need from you:
8. Experience working within the life sciences industry
9. Proven experience in a supervisory role
10. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with various stakeholders at all levels
11. Good understanding of budgeting and finance
12. Contract management experience would be preferred
