International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate. This is a permanent post working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. The role will support the Fostering Service Panel Team who are responsible for arranging and servicing panel meetings of prospective foster carers to seek approval of suitability. The post is based at County Hall, Preston providing outstanding support to operational staff and managers. You could be really experienced in administration or looking to build on your previous experience and there is no better place to do this than with us. We are working a combination of home and office working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection. Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases. Great Communication – You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
