The purpose of the role of Procurement Assistant is to assist in providing a professional service across a range of category areas (goods, services, and works). Supporting the Category Manager’s in the delivery of the procurement function to ensure procurement delivers Best Value through the implementation of best practice across the service. The successful candidate must have an SQA Higher level qualification relevant to the role, or in the absence of formal qualifications then relevant working experience is required. The posts are full time, permanent roles and working hours are Monday to Friday 0900-1700 hours. Requires Management Vetting.
