About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons at A-Level, covering core areas such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, and research methods. Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate case studies, research activities, and critical analysis of psychological theories and studies, ensuring students develop a strong understanding of psychological principles and methodologies. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, research reports, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback to support their academic development. Organize and facilitate psychology-related workshops, research projects, and visits to psychological institutions, enriching students' learning experiences and promoting their interest in psychology. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Psychology or a related field, demonstrating a deep understanding of psychological theories and research methods. Extensive experience teaching A-Level Psychology, with a proven track record of student success and a commitment to high academic standards. Strong knowledge of psychological research methods, data analysis, and ethical considerations in psychological research.
