About Us Nene Valley Christian Family Refuge (eve) has been supporting women affected by domestic abuse for over 40 years. We are seeking a passionate and organised Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our team, managing the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of volunteers essential to delivering our life-changing services. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deliver, and regularly update the Core Volunteering Programme to meet the needs of the organisation. Design and deliver bespoke volunteering programmes for both internal and external stakeholders. Provide training, supervision, and ongoing support for volunteers, ensuring their roles align with organisational goals. Maintain accurate records and compile reports to support funding applications and program evaluations. Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming culture that embodies restoration, recovery, and hope. Essential Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the role of volunteers within an organisation. Knowledge of domestic abuse, its impact on victim-survivors and their children, and safeguarding responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (or alternative efficient travel methods).
