An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced staff nurse with some palliative care experience to join our CNS team in Y Bwthyn Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The successful candidate will have a full induction and an opportunity to work as a team with support and gain skills and knowledge on specialist palliative care.
Main Duties of the Job
The candidate will be able to support the CNS to assess and treat palliative patients in their own homes and offer advice and support. Liaising with District Nursing, the candidate will be able to offer support and guidance to patients, families, and carers.

Job Responsibilities
* Support BAND 7 with the assessment and treatment of patients with palliative care needs.
* Support and offer guidance to patients, families, and carers, and professionals in relation to managing symptoms and general care.
* Work as a team player and support the CNS caseload visits.
