Salary up to £28,000 Support with training and career development UK200-listed commercial firm We're working with a highly-regarded law firm who are looking for a Senior Post-Completions Legal Assistant to work in the property team. Based in their office in Manchester, you’ll be preparing and submitting land registry applications and dealing with a variety of Land Registry queries on behalf of fee earners. This role is perfect for a candidate with some experience in residential or commercial post completions. Responsibilities include: Preparing and submitting land registry applications including transfers, leases, charges, CN1s. Registering and satisfying charges and debentures at Companies’ House. Raising and dealing with a variety of different queries with Land Registry on behalf of fee earners. Entering and updating the electronic Post-Completion checklist. Drafting a variety of SDLT/LTT Returns. Calculating the SDLT/LTT payable for each transaction and arranging payments to HMRC/WRA of any SDLT/LTT due. What we need from you: Flexible and able to manage quick changes to process with good planning skills. Minimum of two years experience with commercial or residential property post completions.
