About The Role
To oversee the front desk activities, such as welcoming visitors, taking phone calls, and performing administrative duties. The Receptionist is essential for ensuring the FBC reception desk operates smoothly and efficiently, resolving any questions and problems quickly and correctly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for all visitors and employees and be able to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Welcoming and registering visitors professionally
* Managing access through a dedicated platform
* Coordinating with the Office Manager to issue security passes
* Monitoring CCTV and car parking
* Handling lost property
* Answering calls
* Arranging meeting rooms
* Processing purchase orders
* Managing couriers and mail
* Liaising with external contractors
* Maintaining office supplies
* Booking catering
* Providing first aid
* Printing and binding documents
* Ensuring the reception area is kept clean and tidy
* Assisting with ad hoc tasks from the Office Manager and Executive Assistant
Who We Are Looking For
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good understanding and use of English language
* Happy to deal with visitors and staff at all levels
* Thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented environment whilst able to work autonomously
* Excellent time management skills
* Great organisational and multitasking ability
* Highly organized and able to remain calm under pressure
* Proactive and happy to roll their sleeves up
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Requirement for CCTV license – this will be arranged for successful candidate
* Experience with Proxy Click would be advantageous
