We are looking for a Garden Centre Manager to join our forward-thinking team. This role is in a high-volume environment with a fast turnaround.
The successful candidate should have proven managerial experience and be physically fit, as this is a hands-on role that may require heavy lifting.
A highly motivated individual with a passion for exceptional retail standards, driving sales, and providing great customer service is essential.
Requirements:
1. Previous Garden Centre Management experience at either centre manager or deputy manager level.
2. Ability to motivate a team of managers and supervisors to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
3. Plant knowledge is preferable.
As a Garden Centre Manager, you will:
1. Manage, lead, inspire, and develop an amazing team.
2. Ensure all customers have a great in-store experience.

Rate of pay negotiable depending on experience.
Skills Required:
1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. Strong communication and team management abilities.
3. Experience working in a similar role.
4. Experience in managing a team.
5. Horticulture experience is beneficial.
Duties will include:
1. Excel knowledge essential for managing rotas and budgeting.
2. Close attention to detail to implement and manage all aspects of company policy and procedures such as EPOS, stock management, health & safety, security, and cash handling.
3. Keyholder duties.
4. Management duties.
5. Delivering all KPI’s, costs, and budgeting.
6. Colleague development and succession planning.
7. Delivering colleague engagement and training.
8. Ordering and stock taking.
9. Providing excellent customer service.
