Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisors
Location: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Permanent
Salary: Up to £38,000 dependant on skills and experience.
We’re looking for two Warehouse Operations Supervisors to join our Warehouse and Distribution team based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
Our distribution centre is responsible for storage and supply to all HCA facilities around the UK. It is a small team of dedicated supply chain professionals and is ever growing to ensure we can continue to deliver the 5-star patient care we are famous for, alongside an exceptional service to our materials colleagues and wider supply chain team within facilities across the UK.
As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor you’ll be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management.
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is also responsible for the hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of employees in specific operational areas. The supervisor will ensure all employees adhere to policies and procedures of the company.

What you’ll do:
* Ensure our clinicians have the supplies they need to provide our patients with high quality care.
* Oversees specific supply chain functions to include receiving, picking, packing, shipping or inventory management.
* Directs colleagues to perform routine cycle counts and investigate discrepancies found in cycle counting process as per policy. Developing the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
* Ensures all job assignments are completed accurately and free of exception as supervisor will conduct periodic audits against company standards.
* Supervises/Performs physical inventory counts during annual stocktake process.
* Act as a main point of contact for any building estates issues.
* Working towards key KPIs and producing regular and timely reporting for the leadership teams.
* Pick up other tasks as and when needed or directed to do so to support the efficient operations and development of the distribution centre.
What you’ll bring:
* Demonstrative warehouse operations management experience with a high-level focus on service delivery and service quality.
* Exceptional team leadership skills, able to lead, develop and motivate others. Acting as a role model and organisational ambassador.
* Demonstrative communication and stakeholder engagement skills both internally and externally.
* The ability to identify opportunities for change and development of supply chain operations.
* A competent IT user within MS Office and ideally some warehouse management systems experience.
* Have or happy to undertake training to operate a forklift vehicle and a motorised pallet jack.
* The ability to work at heights.
