To be successful you will need to:
· Be able to teach English Language and English Literature across the whole ability range in KS3 and KS4. There is the potential to teach English at KS5 for a candidate with suitable experience.
· Have skills in communication, collaboration, listening, adaptability, empathy, and patience.
· Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
· Have the ability to coach and motivate colleagues to achieve individual and collective targets
· Think creatively to anticipate and solve problems.
· Embody the values of ‘Achievement through Caring’.
· Have high expectations of yourself and be a role model to others.
· Be determined to play a pivotal part in the English Department
