PURPOSE OF THE JOB
I am seeking another PA to provide me with 30 hours of care each week over three days, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays
HOURS OF WORK
There are 30 hours per week available which will be worked on Mondays, Wednesday and Sundays.
Hours are 10 hours per day, 8am to 8pm with two hours’ break every working day.
RATES OF PAY
£11.90 per hour
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
Providing me with personal care, including personal hygiene and dressing
Using a hoist to move me around the house.
Assistance with preparing me meals.
Light domestic tasks.
Providing me with companionship, including preparing and accompanying me on occasional trips out.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Someone who is flexible with the times and ways they can work.
A punctual and reliable person is essential as the job will require working with other carers at certain times.
A person who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else’s home.
A chatty and friendly person.
A patient person.
Must be happy to work with a dog in the home.
Female PAs only due to the intimate nature of personal care required.
ABOUT THE JOB
This will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of two months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.
