Job Duties:
* Deliver high-quality ESOL tuition to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)
* Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of UASC students
* Assess students' language proficiency levels and provide feedback to aid their progress
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for UASC students
* Collaborate with other staff members to promote student engagement and learning outcomes
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Required Qualifications:
* CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience working with UASC or vulnerable young people
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of UASC students
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in ESOL or related field
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of the challenges faced by UASC and how to support their educational needs
* Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials
* Familiarity with the UK education system and ESOL curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
* PGCE qualification
* Experience in delivering ESOL classes to UASC in a similar setting
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
