A leading building services provider is looking for an HVAC Engineer to join their maintenance team on a prestigious, world-renowned site in Central London.
This iconic location attracts millions of visitors annually and houses not only public exhibitions but also specialist scientific research laboratories, requiring meticulous upkeep of its critical M&E systems.
Working as part of a large team, you’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of the landlord plant, ensuring the site’s HVAC and mechanical systems operate efficiently to support both public spaces and vital research facilities.
The Role:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & Reactive Maintenance
Servicing and fault-finding on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems
Water treatment tasks, including dosing, temperature checks, and cooling tower maintenance
Monitoring and operating the BMS to optimise building performance
Working on pressurisation units, chilled water systems, and AC units
Supporting critical HVAC systems in temperature-sensitive scientific research labs
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and building standards
Assisting with refurbishment and upgrade projects to improve system efficiency Requirements:
Recognised mechanical or HVAC qualification (Heating & Ventilation preferred)
City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in a building services maintenance environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills Package & Benefits:
Up to £43,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off
Mixed shifts: 7AM – 7PM and 10AM – 10PM
