Acting as a customer-facing DocuWare ambassador for Ricoh, the role holder will promote and enable the sale of transformative solutions to existing and new Ricoh customers, working with Account managers and by hosting sales and technical workshops highlighting solutions that support customer goals and utilize your knowledge on outbound sales to create and secure leads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery of clear business growth of DocuWare solutions for Ricoh in order to meet gross sales quotas against assigned target.
* Conducting Sales and lite technical workshops to educate, as well as providing end-user seminars and presentations to close business both internally and externally.
* Development and implementation of extensive high-quality market plans and putting in place clear account plans to identify appropriate customers and targets.
* Work closely with matrix teams to achieve the shared goal of pipeline growth and set sales cycle expectations.
* Work with direct channels to build a sustainable opportunities pipeline, targeted at £800k first year contract revenues to the business.
* Utilize outbound sales (social media, google, etc.) to create leads.
* Interface with central team to contribute to target plans.
You will ideally have:
* Demonstrable and extensive experience in software sales.
* Ability to demonstrate and sell SaaS SW solutions.
* Proven ability to understand customer problems and find best fit solutions.
* Ability to discuss customers' challenges/requirements vs. product features.
* Understand and document workflows and business processes.
* Strategic thinking to drive new market growth.
* Competitor product knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
* Effective time management and project management skills with influencing and negotiation.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel, experience of using VMs & Virtualbox.
* Proven knowledge and track record on social media, Google AdWords and similar outbound sales tools (preferred).
* Foreign Business travel where required (very limited).
* Ability to present professionally and convincingly.
* Ability to form working relationships with others and create virtual teams to support customer sales engagements (Marketing, Presales, PMs and delivery).
* Ability to work with matrix teams.
* Educated to A-level or equivalent.
