Job summary An opportunity has arisen for qualified plaster technicians to join an established team covering services across three main sites, supporting a comprehensive range of orthopaedic and trauma speciality clinics. The applicant should have a BOA certificate. The post holder will be accountable for all aspects of care requiring plaster casts/splints/braces. Main duties of the job Qualified plaster technicians will carry out and supervise prescribed treatments, while demonstrating evidence based practice, and complying with the british ortopaedic association guidelines. Provide casting and splinting support within clinic as requested while also giving support and advice to the patient and carers to enable optimum treatment and enable self care.
