As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing information systems that support an enterprise infrastructure. You will also provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture and overall vision. Client Details Our client is a large organisation within the public sector, located in Birmingham. This government institution is highly respected and committed regulator of commercial services. Description The successful Systems Architect will be responsible for: Designing and implementing information systems that support enterprise infrastructure. Developing, documenting, and managing the architectural blueprints for the enterprise's IT systems. Providing strategic guidance to teams and project managers. Ensuring the alignment of the IT strategy and programming with company's business goals. Optimising information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities. Promoting shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensuring that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies. Working with IT project management to develop an overall IT schedule along with resource allocation. Profile The successful Systems Architect should have: A thorough understanding of complex information and requirements. An educated understanding of systems architecture and knowledge in the specific field of the public sector. A proven track record of leading and supporting successful projects. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical language for non-technical colleagues. Job Offer Daily rate of £500 - £700 per day (rate to umbrella) dependent on experience Please note this role is inside IR35 and will require 1-2 days per week on-site in Birmingham.
