Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where your contributions will directly influence patient outcomes and service development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
* Provide expert clinical care for patients with complex mental health issues.
* Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Participate in the development and implementation of innovative treatment programs.
* Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
* Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the academic and research activities of Nelson House.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
* CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification.
* Extensive experience in the assessment and management of psychiatric disorders.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
