What you will be doing?
We are looking for a talented individual to join our Static Data team in Glasgow on a 6 month FTC contract. In your role, you will be responsible for performing the daily duties of checking and general processing of all Static data functions, in a timely and accurate basis, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role holder will operate within defined standards and guidelines which are aligned to service level agreements and data quality controls.
As Operations Executive – Static Data - 6 month FTC, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines and that any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
* Logging, maintaining and responding to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
* Adopting a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensuring high quality service levels are delivered. Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and payments, escalating to manager or relevant department where necessary.
* Supporting and providing cover for other members of the team and wider department as and when required.
* Ensuring that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
* Understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework. Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management.
* Experience working with XPLAN or Avaloc.
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
* Previous working experience within a financial services institution, especially in Operations, is advantageous but not essential.
