We are currently recruiting for a Student Wellbeing Advisor to join our Rochdale based secondary school this summer!
We have been working with over 95% of secondary schools over the past 10 years supporting schools with their staffing needs. We hold close partnerships with schools ensuring we provide them with the best quality staff for their staffing requirements.
You will join their Student Welfare Adviser Team and be required to report to their team manager. Within your role you will work in line with the school departments to support students in Mental Health with student counselling.
As a Student Wellbeing Advisor, you will be required to provide professional support, assist pupils with mental health, and health and wellbeing concerns they have.
Previous experience is essential for this role. You must have supported SEMH students in a secondary school previously.
The school is based in Rochdale and provides staff parking. It is located centrally with access to bus, tram, and train routes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with learning difficulties or mental health conditions
- Ensure your team and staff are informed of any adjustments which need making to support their education
- Work closely with support services for students with mental health difficulties
- Undertake an initial assessment of students’ requirements and needs, signposting students / carers to support services

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
