We wish to appoint a Commissioning Engineer to join our Projects & Commissioning Team. This is a field-based role and will require travel throughout the UK and possibly NI, ROI, and overseas.

The Role
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will carry out all aspects of commissioning activity for Edina products and Balance of Plant, including all interfaces with third parties. Following all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, regulations, and requirements, you will carry out all fault finding on Edina installations, ensuring that all problems are closed out to the required quality standard. You will also train clients and Edina personnel on the product to allow safe operation as required and occasionally support the wider team in specialist troubleshooting and field support.
About You
To be considered as a Commissioning Engineer, you will need:
1. To hold a minimum qualification to ONC/D, NVQ level II or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical discipline
2. To be a competent time-served technician in a mechanical/electrical discipline, with a minimum of 3 years' Power Generation Commissioning experience
3. To be a competent technician with considerable skills and in-depth knowledge of gas and diesel engines within Power Generation
4. To have effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages
5. To have a full, valid UK driving licence
Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach to working hours is important. This position will involve working away from home, weekend work, and possible out of hours work.
