Role
The Firm seeks a Risk Analyst to join the EMEA Equities Risk team. The Risk team, among other things, is responsible for the following:
1. Understanding the portfolio's risk structure and PnL drivers
2. Interacting effectively with PMs, traders, and core constituents
3. Managing and monitoring PM risk mandates
4. Interviewing PM candidates and drafting notes
5. Designing, reviewing, and maintaining PM risk limits
6. Conducting risk, performance, and stress analyses
7. Refining and improving the Firm's risk processes, systems, and infrastructure.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
1. Buy-side or sell-side experience in Front Office (preferred) or Risk, with a focus on Equities or Equity Derivatives is desirable
2. STEM, economics, or finance degrees preferred
3. Minimum of 2:1 grade or higher
4. Skills in applied mathematics are desirable
5. Some experience in quantitative or statistical modeling is essential
6. Programming experience in Python, C/C++, Java, Rust, or another language is desirable
7. Strong attention to detail and common-sense thinking
8. Hardworking, friendly, honest, and enthusiastic
