Job Title: Anti-social Behaviour Officer Location of work: Town Hall Salary: £28,023- £35,724 pro rata (depending on experience) Basis: Permanent, Part time (21 hours per week) About the Role Are you looking for a new career opportunity in a fast developing, forward thinking, and ambitious organisation? Demonstrating that you are an innovative, supportive, positive and flexible person, you will play a key role in tackling anti-social behaviour in the Borough and helping residents and visitors to feel safe whether at home, outdoors or at work. We are an ambitious team working to support residents experiencing anti-social behaviour, to provide early intervention and prevention work to reduce anti-social behaviour and to help deliver the Council’s Corporate Plan. About the Person With a proven track record of investigating suspected cases of anti-social behaviour and working with other agencies and residents to resolve the problems, you’ll also need excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to prepare evidence and supporting information to secure successful resolution, including an understanding, or a willingness to learn, how to deliver ASB case reviews. You will have knowledge of antisocial behaviour legislation and practice, and the principles of information sharing, and where appropriate will be able to produce summary reports to inform the council and partner agencies. Preferably you will also have experience supporting the development and implementation of initiatives to successfully reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, including partnership events and campaigns to promote awareness of and engagement with a range of community safety issues.
