Role Overview
The Bid Designer will sit within The Creative Lab, a high performing specialist unit, focused on the creation and production of sales and retention documents. As a sectorised business, CGUK&I supports a wide variety of industries, however this role will be sector aligned to Levy, our specialist sports and events brand.
Levy is the market leader in bringing fantastic flavours and innovative technology to some of the most famous venues and events in Europe. The Bid Designer needs to have the ability to bring this to life on the page. Showcasing dynamic, visual documents, which represent the client as well as Levy.
The Bid Designer will support sales and operations teams to design concepts for bid documents which have high visual impact. The role will support throughout the bid process creating visual and creative content for bid documents, presentations and infographics.
The Bid Designer will report into the Bid Team Manager, working in conjuction with Proposal Managers, and Levy sales and retention teams. A flexible approach would be required to accommodate the peaks and troughs of the bid lifecycle.

Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), including interactive web published Indesign documents.
2-3 years graphic design experience with portfolio to suit
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality to create impactful documents which ‘wow’.
Feedback from line manager and internal clients
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval. Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and artwork.

Person Specification
A portfolio of conceptual thinking and innovative graphic design with a clear passion for inspiring clients through creative design. Experience of presenting to senior members of the business. Keeping up to date with emerging trends in the design industry and mentoring other Designers. The Bid Designer will also:

Technical Skills
* Well organized, ability to multitask and manage a number of tenders at the same time

* Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Knowledge of social media platforms, associated media requirements, and best practices
* Experience designing interactive and web publish documents
* Video editing software
